What is Invisalign, and what does it do?

Invisalign uses what’s called aligners to safely move the teeth. This is done with a few simple steps. Once you’re excited about starting invisalign, we take a simple scan of the upper and lower jaw. Creating a 3D image that Invisalign uses to create a plan to safely move the teeth. After about 4 weeks we have the trays in the office and we’re able to deliver them to you!
How Long Does the Invisalign Treatment Take?
The length of time you’ll be in treatment with Invisalign is estimated to be 6-12 months. (Much quicker than traditional, metal braces!)

How Often Do I Need to See the Dentist While Wearing Invisalign?
You will need to see Dr. Coburn or Dr. Sgalia every 12-14 weeks while wearing invisalign trays. We like to leave the responsibility of wearing the trays up to the patient. The more you wear them the faster your teeth move! Compliance is key.
